Community Guidelines

Community Guidelines

Effective Date: May 22, 2026

These Guidelines apply to everyone who uses Clinket: customers, businesses and the people who work for them. They sit alongside the Terms of Use for your country; if the two ever differ, the Terms of Use apply.

1. Respect and Non-Discrimination

Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech, intimidation, abuse, impersonation and discrimination on the basis of race, colour, religion, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age or any other characteristic protected by law are not allowed.

2. Honest Listings and Profiles

Businesses must keep their services, prices, locations, opening hours, credentials and claims accurate and up to date. If a service has no fixed price, mark it as price on request rather than showing a made-up price. Do not claim a licence, qualification, award or Clinket mark you do not hold, and never describe your business as verified unless it shows the Verified business mark. Claim a business profile set up by Clinket only if the business is yours or you are authorised to act for it.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are not allowed anywhere on Clinket. You are responsible for everything you upload, post, send or share. Clinket may remove prohibited content at any time, with or without notice, and may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): zero tolerance. Suspected CSAM is removed immediately and reported to the relevant national authority.
  • Sexually explicit content, nudity or pornography in profiles, listings, photos, messages, reviews or anywhere else on Clinket.
  • Hate speech, threats, harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation or doxxing (publishing someone’s private contact or identity details).
  • Violence, graphic injury, gore, or content that promotes self-harm.
  • Terrorism, extremism or incitement to violence.
  • Illegal goods or services, trafficking, exploitation, controlled substances, weapons where unlawful, or any other unlawful activity.
  • Infringing other people’s rights, including using photos, logos, trademarks, text or other material you do not own or have permission to use.
  • Forged, altered, expired or misrepresented documents, including licences, certificates, identity documents and verification materials.
  • Impersonating another person, business or Clinket employee.
  • AI-generated or altered media (including deepfakes) that misrepresents real people, businesses, credentials, work samples or results.
  • Spam and unwanted mass promotion, or attempts to get around Clinket’s limits, safety controls or stop lists.
  • Malware, phishing, hacking, reverse engineering or any attempt to disrupt Clinket or get into other people’s accounts.
  • Fake or paid-for reviews, retaliatory reviews, or reviews containing threats, personal attacks or knowingly false claims.

4. Reviews

  • Review only a service you actually booked or received, and describe your own honest experience.
  • Do not offer or accept money, discounts, gifts or other rewards for reviews, and do not ask only satisfied customers to leave one.
  • Do not review your own business, a business you work for, or a competitor.
  • Businesses may reply to reviews publicly. Replies must be polite and must not reveal a customer’s private details or booking information. Never pressure or threaten anyone to change or remove a review.
  • Use Report on a review you believe breaks these Guidelines. Clinket’s moderators may remove it.

5. Messages and Notifications

  • Use Clinket messages, and the WhatsApp messages, text messages and emails sent through Clinket, for the booking, quote or request they relate to. Do not send spam, chain messages or marketing the person has not agreed to receive.
  • When someone asks you to stop contacting them, stop. Clinket records stop requests and opt-outs, and you must not try to get around them, for example by using another number, account or tool.
  • Never ask anyone for a password, a sign-in or verification code, or a full card number in a message or on a call.
  • Keep messages respectful and relevant, and do not use them to collect personal information you do not need for the job.

6. AI Assistant Calls

When a business uses the AI Assistant to answer its calls:

  • Callers are told that the call may be recorded and answered by an AI assistant. Do not set up or instruct the AI Assistant to claim to be a person, to hide that it is an AI, or to deny that calls are recorded.
  • Call recordings are on by default, and Clinket also creates transcripts and summaries. You can turn recordings off in your AI Assistant settings. Give callers any extra notice, and get any consent, that the law where you or your callers are requires.
  • Give the AI Assistant accurate information about your business, services, prices and hours, and never tell it to say anything false or misleading. The AI can make mistakes, so check the bookings, quotes and messages it creates for you.
  • If you download or share a call recording or transcript, keep it secure and use it only for your own business, as the law allows.
  • The AI Assistant is not an emergency service. It cannot call or connect anyone to emergency services, so never rely on it in an emergency.

7. Outbound Calls

When a business uses Outbound calls, the business is the caller and is responsible for every call made for it.

  • Call only contacts you have the permission the law requires to call. A promotional (offer) call needs the person’s own consent for your business and is available only in Canada and the United States. In India, Outbound calls may be used only for service calls, never for promotion.
  • Clinket checks your business’s own stop list, Clinket’s stop list, calling hours and how often a number can be called. It does not check national do-not-call registries, so you must make sure you are allowed to call each number.
  • Respect every stop request at once and for good. Do not add back a number someone asked to stop, call them another way to get around the request, or argue with them about it.
  • Be honest about AI. Every Outbound call says that it is the AI assistant for your business and gives the general reason for the call. Do not write a brief or instructions that hide this, pretend to be a person, mislead about why you are calling, or pressure, threaten or harass anyone.
  • Do not ask the AI to collect passwords, sign-in codes or full card numbers, and send only handouts that are accurate and that you have the right to share.
  • Clinket may pause a campaign when many people ask to stop, hang up early or report the calls as unwanted, and may suspend Outbound calls for a business that breaks these rules.

8. Team Conduct

  • Team members act for the business. Use only the access your role gives you, and only for your work for that business.
  • Never share your sign-in, even with a colleague. Everyone who works in the business needs their own invitation.
  • Do not copy, export or use customer and contact details for yourself, for another business, or after you leave the team.
  • The Primary owner is responsible for the people they invite, the roles they give them and what they do. Remove people who no longer work for the business: their access ends, and the record of what they did is kept.
  • Clinket keeps an activity history of important actions in the business, showing who did them.

9. Safety and Privacy

Do not publish or share another person’s private contact or identity details outside the features meant for it. Use the personal information you receive through Clinket — such as names, phone numbers, addresses and call recordings — only to provide your services, and handle it as privacy laws require. Do not record anyone by other means without the notice and consent the law requires.

10. Automated Access and Scraping

Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-download Clinket, use bots or other automated tools to access it, collect contact details for marketing, or use Clinket content to build a competing directory or to train AI models. Search engines and AI assistants may show public Clinket pages only on the conditions in the Terms of Use, which set out the full rules on automated access, data scraping and AI use.

11. Enforcement

Clinket may remove content, remove a Clinket mark, hide a business profile from customers, pause campaigns, limit features, suspend or close accounts, and report unlawful conduct to the authorities — at any time, with or without notice — where we reasonably believe these Guidelines or the Terms of Use have been broken. Repeated or serious breaches may lead to permanent removal.

12. How to Report a Problem

If you see content or behaviour that may break these Guidelines, tell us:

  • Use Report on a review, or Report wrong info on a business profile set up by Clinket.
  • If you no longer want calls from a business that uses Clinket, say so during the call. Your request is saved, and that business cannot call you through Clinket again unless you change your mind.
  • Or email support@clinket.com with the link or a screenshot, a short description of the problem and your contact details, so we can follow up.

We review reports within a reasonable time and act as described in Section 11. For copyright complaints, see the Terms of Use for your country. For complaints about personal information, see the Privacy Policy for your country.
